Gabe Renchen allowed just two hits during the Bradley-Bourbonnais JV baseball team's 13-0 shutout of Thornwood on Friday.
The Boilermakers got on the board in the first inning when Maguire Domanszky homered on a 2-0 count, scoring three runs, and followed with five runs in the third led by Kyle Koch, Joel Yarno, Austin Botica, K Baron, and Renchen, who all drove in runs.
Renchen logged five innings on the hill, striking out nine and walking just one.
BBCHS scattered 14 hits in the game. Renchen, Yarno, Domanszky, Botica, and Koch all had multiple hits, with Yarno and Renchen each collecting three hits to lead the Boilermaker offense.
The Boilermakers will host Thornridge on Tuesday.
