Travel Softball: River Valley Rage 14U Capture Decker Last Chance Crown

The 14U River Valley Rage from Bourbonnais won the Decker Last Chance B World Series Tournament at River Road Park in Kankakee this past weekend, June 15th-17th.

The Rage went 6-0 on the weekend outscoring their opponents by 66-20!


The Rage collected 60 hits over the weekend led by Kassidy Embry with 10 hits and Eden Rainbolt with nine. Alyssa Norfleet, Molly Wierer and Alyssa McCord all collected seven hits with five RBIs each on the weekend, while Riley Brueggert added five more RBIs on five hits.

With 27 stolen bases, the Rage wreaked havoc on the base paths led by the duo of Ally VandenHout and Carly Basham each swiping four bases.

Rainbolt, Mattie Yuska, and Mallory Ninis each spent time in the circle limiting their opponents to just 24 hits across the six games.

Next weekend the Rage travel to Rockford for the NSA North State Tournament.
